Sisters Locust Lane Retreat

The scent of ponderosa pine drifts across the yard, the hot tub steams under a sky full of Cascade stars, and downtown Sisters is close enough to walk to for pie. This is Locust Lane, a fully stocked three-bedroom home tucked into a quiet residential corner of Sisters, Oregon, built for the families and friend groups who want the whole day: a hike or a morning at the lake, foosball and board games in the afternoon, and that hot tub with a mountain view once the sun drops behind the Three Sisters.

Property Overview

Pull in and the trip already feels slower. There's parking for up to four vehicles, a keyless code waiting in your inbox, and a home that was clearly stocked by someone who has hosted a lot of families and knows exactly what they forget to pack.

Inside, the open living spaces give everyone room to spread out without losing each other. The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked, the workspace in the corner means the one person who has to answer an email won't miss a minute of vacation, and every detail, from the coffee bar to the closet, says the same thing: you don't have to bring much, just your people.

Ten guests sleep easily across three bedrooms and five real beds, two and a half bathrooms keep the morning rush painless, and a fenced backyard gives kids room to run before the hot tub calls everyone back outside.

Sisters itself sets the tone before you've even unpacked. Tucked against the Cascade foothills with the jagged Three Sisters peaks on the skyline, this is a Western-storefront town of boutiques, art galleries, coffeehouses, and breweries, the kind of place that hosts an outdoor quilt show and a folk festival every year and still feels unhurried on a Tuesday. This home sits in a quiet residential pocket of that same town, close enough to walk to the center of it, far enough to sleep well at night.

Perfect For

Large families craving a real kitchen and real beds instead of a cramped hotel suite. Multi-generational reunions who need everyone under one roof but still want their own corner to retreat to. Groups of friends chasing a Central Oregon adventure weekend built around Smith Rock, the Cascade lakes, and Sisters' own trail network. Couples and small families who just want to walk to a good bakery in the morning and soak in a hot tub at night. Anyone timing a trip around the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show, the Sisters Folk Festival, or a Sisters Rodeo weekend, when the whole town fills up and a walkable home base is worth its weight in gold.

☆☆ BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS ☆☆

Three bedrooms hold five real beds between them: a king, a queen, a double/twin bunk bed for the kids, and a sofa bed for the group that just keeps growing. Nobody here is sleeping on an air mattress in the living room.

The two and a half bathrooms carry the same thoughtfulness through, stocked with soaps and supplies and ready to go so nobody's digging through a suitcase looking for a bar of soap on morning one.

☆☆ KITCHEN ☆☆

This is not a kitchenette. The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked, from quality cookware to a proper coffee bar, teas, spices, and oils, so the person who actually likes to cook on vacation has everything they need and the person who doesn't can still make toast in peace. Snacks are already in the pantry for the first morning before anyone's made a grocery run.

☆☆ LIVING ROOM & GAME ROOM ☆☆

The open living space is where the group actually gathers, roomy enough for everyone to land after a day outside without stepping on each other. A dedicated game room with a foosball table gives kids and adults a reason to stay up a little later, and a dedicated workspace with a desk, printer, and reliable WiFi means the one guest who has to log in for an hour won't have to work from the kitchen table.

☆☆ OUTSIDE SPACE ☆☆

This is where the trip earns its keep. A private hot tub looks straight out at the Sisters mountains, the fenced backyard gives everyone room to spread out, and a well-maintained lawn and porch make the evening BBQ feel like it belongs in a magazine, not a listing photo.
